Peeks around the house and our Remodel

Buffet in the dining area

We finished our a remodel/addition a few weeks ago and I have slowly started to unpack the "lovely" Pod in the driveway and decorate.  A few people have asked about how it is all going, so I thought I would share some peeks of the house.
New Bathroom vanity and tub

Shower

New Bed with a headboard made from 100 year old planks from the demo. of the house

My Daughter's new Black and White Bedroom

Living Room

Chippy Lobster sign by the front door

I still have lots of unpacking to do and decorating, but al least I have a start!

  2. How exciting to be getting everything put back in place after your remodel. I love what I see, expecially your bathroom. What a great idea to use the planks from your home to create a headboard.

  7. Wow, it looks beautiful! I have an old dresser that I'm planning to use for a bathroom vanity in my half bath (my next redo project). I've had it for a long time and at one point painted it cream. The paint is starting to come off in places and I was trying to decide it I should leave it or repaint it. After seeing your lovely chippy vanity I think I'll leave it!

  14. I am green with envy over your gorgeous bathroom! I absolutely love the juxtaposition of the elaborate framed mirror hanging above the chippy vanity. And hey, I can't help but think that the black and white dresser I posted today would be perfect in your daughter's room ;-) Too bad I'm all the way in Minnesota!

I had the wall made of of shiplap and white subway tiles and love the tow together too! The dresser would be great in my daughter's room! She has a great idea for her current dresser that we will be doing soon for it.

  15. Wow, it all looks fabulous Darielle! Love your chippy bathroom vanity and tub with the bead board walls. Your daughter's room is gorgeous in black & white. Your rustic plank headboard is awesome and I love the white & red linens with it - so pretty. Your house must be loaded with personality from top to bottom judging from your posts. Love a house that tells a story!

    1. Thank you Marie- I am loving the bathroom too with the subway tiles and shiplap. I do like my house to have color and there is a story behind most of the pieces in my house-I am a good junker so almost everything has been found!

  16. Oh Darielle, I am so glad you stopped by, in all my crazy business I have to say sorry for not making it by so much sooner and will go baxk and catch up on your older postings.

Please, please, please hop on a plain and xome help me remodel my bathroom. I had the great taller not so wide buffet cabinet. And was going to use it for my vanity sink, I so wish I had not sold it in my shop months ago thinking a better one would come along.... After seeing your bathroom I am kicking myself to think I could have already made some head waves in my bathroom, Darn, so jealous of your romantic rural rustic bathroom, it's a great place to spend time in.

Love all the spaces in your home, have to tell you I don't have that much colour in my home, but that blue sideboard buffet is another fabulousely piece.
Thank you dear for taking the time to visit me, you always creatively joy my days.

    Beautiful week ahead of you.
